Meeting with the winners of the Young Scientists Competition

On September 25, The Director General of Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation of Georgia, Prof. Gabisonia met Tbilisi State University student, Nia Gogokhiasa and the student of Agricultural University, Saba Gogichaishviuli, who successfully participated in scientific competition- ,,European Union Contest for Young Scientists 2019’’ and obtained Second place.

The Director General discussed about modern trends, science innovations, technology, as well as the grant calls and programmes of the foundation, including international projects. He also reviewed the status of Georgia’s integration in EURAXESS, and other international scientific institutions of the European Union, which provides opportunities for scientists, in particular for the young scientist.

At the, European Union Contest for Young Scientists 2019’’, young scientists presented a scientific project "New Polymers for Medical Purpose". It is noteworthy that  these young Scientists are the winners of numerous scientific competitions and successful finalists of the ,,Leonardo Da Vinci” call -  Programme for young inventors and researchers “Leonardo Da Vinci”, administered by SRNSFG.
