European Heritage Awards 2019

Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation of Georgia disseminates information about the European Heritage Awards which aim to strengthen the capacity of the heritage sector in Europe by highlighting best practices, encouraging the cross-border exchange of knowledge and connecting various stakeholders in wider networks.

 

Entries for the European Heritage Awards may be submitted from all countries that take part in the Creative Europe Programme of the European Union. The Award is focused to contribute to a stronger public recognition of cultural heritage as a strategic resource for Europe’s society and economy.

All winning entries will receive an award certificate as well as a wall plaque. The four winners of a Grand Prix (chosen from among the laureates of the European Heritage Awards / Europa Nostra Awards) will receive a monetary award of €10,000.

Applications for the European Heritage Awards are open and the deadline is 1 October 2019.
