International Scientific Research Programmes for Georgian scientists (CERN, DUBNA)

The Aim of the Program: To give an opportunity for leading Georgian scientists (physicists, engineers and technicians) to participate in international state-of-the-art research projects and deepen scientific-technical ties by cooperation with European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN) and Joint Institute for Nuclear Research (JINR). It is worthy to mention that researchers will use the outcomes resulted from the cooperation only for nonmilitary purposes. The involvement of Georgian scientists in international projects of the abovementioned centers will be possible by sharing of human resources, as well as by provision of access to Georgian scientists selected on a competitive basis for the necessary technology, equipment, materials and infrastructure.

Target Group: Georgian higher educational and research institutes with relevant competence in such fields as experimental and theoretical physics, cosmic-ray physics, electronics, information technologies, coordinates computation, young scientists, doctoral students. The following higher educational organizations and research institutes can participate in research projects leaded by International Centers: Three (3) Institutes of the Iv. Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University (High Energy Physics Institute, A. Razmadze Mathematical Institute, E. Andronikashvili Institute of Physics,); Ilia State University and Georgian Technical University.
