DIASPORA AWARDS 2019
Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation of Georgia disseminates information about the Diaspora Awards 2019.
The event will be held in frames of the joint implementation of diaspora engagement activities of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia in partnership with the International Centre for Migration Policy Development (ICMPD) and its EU-funded project ENIGMMA 2 (Sustaining Migration Management in Georgia).
The annual event titled “Recognition of Diaspora Achievements” takes place in Tbilisi, Georgia in Spring 2019 in a form of a prestigious celebration and recognition of the achievements of Georgian diaspora abroad as well as their contributions to the development in Georgia.
The nominations are welcome in the following categories:
- Achievement in Science
- Achievement in Promotion of Georgian Culture
- Achievement in Sport
- Achievement in Philanthropy
- Achievement in People’s Diplomacy
- Foreign Friend of Georgia
The nomination of candidates is possible from 1 February to 1 March, 2019.
