Research Grants to Young Scientists

The research grants to Young Scientists aims at selecting and supporting talented young scientists on a competitive basis, increasing the research quality by funding an individual, innovative research projects and by supporting young scientists` scientific-research projects. The call also aims at developing scientific cooperation and interdisciplinary research activities, supporting the development of young scientists and scientific potential of Georgia, as well as strengthening and developing Georgian higher educational institutions’ scientific-research activities.

Target Group:  Citizens of Georgia, holders of PhD or equivalent academic degree awarded during last 7 years before the call announcement date.

Duration:  Projects supported as part of Research grants to Young Scientists may have the duration up to 24 months.
