SRNSFG announces 2018 Call for Conference Grants for Georgian Studies
Title of the call: Call for Conference Grants for Georgian Studies
Aim of the call:
The aim of the call for applications “Targeted Conference on Georgian Studies” is to support:
a) Organize high level international events (conferences, congresses, symposium);
b) Popularization of Georgian studies and dissemination of the research results to the wider international community;
c) Development of the Georgian studies research field;
d) Dissemination of results of the research projects and activities;
e) Share knowledge and experience among the researchers and institutions;
f) Promote international partnership;
g) Attractyoung scientists in the field of the Georgian studies.
Project type: Institutional
Main Terms and Conditions:
Projects can be submitted in Georgian Studies or fields related;
Conference proposed by the application mustbe held from 1st July 2019 till 31st October, 2020;
Funding requested from the Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation should not exceed 40,000 GEL;
Grant funding for scientific team members – in total grant funding for one person should not exceed 35% of requestedfunding from the Foundation.
Project registration calendar:
March 6 – April 4, 16:00 pm -dates for registration in the Grants Management Unified System (GMUS);
April 5 16, 16 pm - deadline for providing the application document at the SRNSFG office;
Call administration calendar:
March 11&25 2019 - group consultations;
April2 - deadline for sending the questions electronically;
July 19 – August 14, 16:00 pm -dates for registration in the Grants Management Unified System (GMUS);
August 16, 16 pm - deadline for providing the application document at the SRNSFG office;
April 2019- eligibility check of the submitted projects;
April 2019 - publish midterm results of the call;
May 2019 - evaluation of submitted projects by the committee
June 2019 - publish results of the call;
June 2019 - sign the grant agreement.
